Rebranding

Rebranding, whether it involves a complete change of name or simply refreshing a dated website, can be a complex and challenging endeavor, especially when one considers the implications for search engine optimization (SEO) that are intricately linked to the previous website. This process can be particularly daunting, as the existing SEO metrics, which have been built over time, may not seamlessly transfer to the new brand or website. The question arises: why undertake such a significant transformation?

Well, one fateful morning in May 2023, a decision was made that would alter the course of my online presence, much to my horror. My previous WordPress site, known as Imagetext Wedding Photography, was tragically lost due to what my server deemed a hacking incident. This unexpected setback forced me to confront the reality of starting anew. After two weeks of intense effort, dedication, creativity and the amazing support of fellow wedding photographer James Hatter, I am excited to present my new site. It is not merely a replacement; it represents an opportunity to innovate, improve, and connect with my audience in fresh and meaningful ways. The journey of rebranding has been fraught with challenges, yet it has also opened the door to a revitalized identity and a chance to engage with my clients more effectively.

Waves crash against large rocks on a cloudy day, creating white spray and foam. The scene conveys power and movement against a muted sky.
